Fished in December, the Junior May Monthly 2008 was won by Iain Maclean

With the kids of school for Thanksgiving, following having fished on the friday the Junior Anglers were out again on the monday contesting the Junior May Monthly 2008 on another bitterly cold day.

Fishing at Kebock head, Lythe (Pollack), Coalfish and Cuckoo Wrasse were the species that came onboard, and as the day went on it was a clear two horse race between Iain Maclean and Ewan Thompson.  Iain coming out as the top angler, just 3 points ahead of Ewan .... a just reward for Iain's efforts over the year, as he is the only Junior to have fished every competition this year.

On a not to bright a note, Bryan Macleod who has been prone to leaving his rod unattended resting on the gunnels this time out paid the inevitable price as his rod and reel shot overboard and into the sea.  A hard lesson learned!
