The Nicolson Institute School Activities Sea Angling Trip

On the Friday the 25th of June 2008 the Nicolson Institute used the clubs boat The SYSAC II for a day out at sea for the school kids activites.  Angus "Mopp" Macdonald skippered the boat, here is his quick wee report.

"just back from trip out with nicolson institute activities day on SYSAC II, when pupils were asked to put down on there forms what activity they wanted to go on 300 applied for sea angling so 10 were drawn from hat all begginers to sea angling. the weather was a bit wet but the sea was quite smooth with the wind coming of the shore. the mackerel were everywhere but got some lythe and cod with the odd gurnard, wrasse and ling. so a good day out with bags of fish going home to feed all the neighbours." ~ Mopp
